The best writer and even better fiancée a guy like me could pretend to be worthy of having in his life
If I were a betting man, and I am because I am a "professional musician," I put all my money on this Aussie sweetheart. Another random find on here. Excellent writer, good heart, conscientious, and--forgive me here, Sean, as in recovery it's not really about leaders but let's just be real--is absolutely a leader in the making.
Just subscribe. Gabbie is absolutely spot on, and I couldn't care less if she liked or disliked my music (and that's true really across the board). Gabbie is excellent at what she does and is also a lovely person, and I think any type of world like this that she built is precisely what music needs.
A bit of fry and laurie, a deeper dive into his writing, a deeper and deeper dive into every single thing he has ever said is one of many reasons, due to him, I sit here and type this recommendation. Fellow bipolar-bear, I shall never wish to quit you (but Marjorie can go to hell)
Michael Ian Black had a profound influence on me growing up. Stella and the hella amazing work he's done since. Two writers on here brought me to substack not so long ago: Matt Taibbi and Michael Ian Black. But Michael's writing on here is just beautiful, and I really mean it when I say I've learned a lot from how he's utilized this platform as a way of distancing himself from the mediated persona in using his true voice. Can't recommend highly enough.
When I grow up, I'd like to be like these two. Just awesome.
